Dump truck rolls over in Schroeppel

The investigation continues into what caused the driver of a dump truck to lose control this morning in Schroeppel. It happened around 7:30 a.m. on County Route 6. Our Brad Vivacqua has the latest information.

OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. – Oswego County 911 dispatchers say a dump truck rolled over in the area of Bankrupt Road and County Route 6 in Schroeppel. It happened around 7:30 a.m.

The dump truck driver was apparently hauling gravel when he lost control of the vehicle. The driver was trapped inside the truck when crews arrived, and they broke the windshield to get him out. He was treated on the scene for minor cuts on his arm.

DPW crews spent the morning cleaning up the road.
