SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The community came together at Onondaga Community College Saturday to help make some wishes come true.

The 7th annual Tiffany Heitkamp Walk for Wishes benefits the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Central New York.

Over the years, proceeds from the walk have helped fund wishes for more than 25 kids around the region. Some of those kids even joined in to help make sure others can have a similar experience.

Wish Kids, Kenny Howard & Rebecca Lloyd said, "To help raise money for other kids to have a wish really means a lot, because we both had a wish and we know what it means. It really makes a difference."
