CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- President Obama will be visiting the Capital Region tomorrow. The president is scheduled to visit University of Albany's Nanotech Complex instead of GlobalFoundries, as originally planned.
Officials say the change of plans was partly because of the amount of available parking, but also influenced by the location's distance from the Albany airport.
President Obama's visit will highlight the region's manufacturing and technology industries.
This will be his third visit to the Capitol Region since taking office.
