NEW YORK -- E-ZPass is closing its walk-in service center in Liverpool. The location off of Old Liverpool Road will shut its doors on June 8th.
It's one of three centers across the state closing as the New York State Thruway Authority looks to cut costs. Officials say they will save approximately $1 million a year as a result.
Customers who want to pick up a new E-ZPass tag can still go to one of the many E-ZPass "On-the-Go" retail locations around town. They're in many grocery stores, gas stations, and other convenience stores.
You can still access you accounts online at E-ZPassNY.com or by phone at 1-800-333-8655.
