SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A tractor trailer jackknifed on Interstate 690 Tuesday afternoon, causing some delays.

Syracuse Police say a caravan-type vehicle pulled into the lane the tractor trailer was in, cutting off the truck. The driver of the tractor trailer tried to brake to avoid an accident, but wound up jackknifing and hitting the guardrail.

No one was injured in the crash and police say no tickets were issued.

One lane of traffic was closed off until police could clear the scene.
