SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Despite its No. 1 ranking, 17-0 record, and 489-52 scoring margin against opponents, the Onondaga Community College men's lacrosse team says it is not assuming anything as it goes for a fourth-straight NJCAA title this weekend.

The Lazers have made a laughingstock of the junior college lacrosse scene this season with their closest result being an 11-goal win over No. 2 Nassau, which is hosting this year's national tournament. Onondaga plays Genesee in the semifinals Saturday and the winner will play either Nassau or Essex in the championship game Sunday.
