WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- Watertown Police were able to track down the man they say committed several crimes Friday morning and then tried several different ways to get away.

Police caught and arrested Christopher Hickey, 22, of Syracuse.

Hickey has been charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault and forcible touching.

Police say a woman called them to an apartment on Keyes Avenue and say she was bloodied, had swollen lips and smelled of bleach, but Hickey wasn't there when they arrived. They say he ran to a nearby bus station, took a city bus north, ran onto several streets and then in between houses, trying to evade police before they nabbed him.

Hickey has been accused of holding the unnamed woman against her will, physically and sexually assaulting her and throwing bleach on her.
