Police investigating stabbing and shooting in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police were called to the scene of a shooting and a stabbing on the city's south side. It happened just before 7 p.m. Friday at the intersection of South Salina Street and Wood Avenue.
Police say one person was shot in the arm while another person was stabbed.
Both were taken to separate hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are still working to figure out what happened.
