SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- For the second time in less than a week, vandals have struck at Skiddy Park.
The Syracuse park has been under construction for the past five months and Monday, crews arrived to find their equipment damaged.
The construction company says a bobcat and excavator both had windows smashed out, the fuel tank of the excavator was also tampered with and their job trailer was peppered with rocks and the vent on top was destroyed.
Last Thursday, officials say their equipment was vandalized too.
Work is back underway at the park, but will be impacted because this equipment has to be removed.
The damage is estimated to be between $8,000 and $10,000.
