Students pay tribute to Latin culture
Latin is considered the root of all romance languages, but nowadays, it's rarely taught in the classroom. A few local schools, however, are keeping Latin alive. Each year, students from Liverpool, Baldwinsville, F-M and elsewhere gather at Syracuse University for what they like to call "Latinalia." Our photojournalist Ben Augustine checked out the 23rd edition of the games and has a look at the fierce competition.
