ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A jury has been seated as a trial gets underway for a Waterville Elementary School teacher accused of sexually abusing a student.

David Lemery faces four counts of course of sexual conduct against a child. According to the indictment, Lemery engaged in two or more acts of sexual contact with a girl starting in 1997 and ending in 2001, when the child was nine-years-old.

Investigators with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center say the victim was a student at Waterville Elementary, where Lemery was a phys ed teacher and coach.
