SYRACUSE, N.Y. - It's a case of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object when Limestone and Le Moyne meet in the NCAA Division II men's lacrosse semifinals on Saturday.
Le Moyne has the stingiest defense in Division II, allowing 4.06 goals per game, while Limestone has the highest-scoring offense at 15.18 goals per game--more than two goals better than the next-highest average. On the flipside, Le Moyne's offense is eighth-best in D-II with 11.88 goals per game and Limestone has the third-best defense with 5.59 allowed.
Gametime is scheduled for noon on Saturday and the winner will play in the championship game the following weekend at the New England Patriots' Gillette Stadium.
