ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Police continue to investigate an accident on Interstate 81 that left a pedestrian in critical condition. They said the man was hit on I-81 in the Town of Cicero Thursday night.

State Police said Michael Moore, 53, of Penellville is in critical condition. They said he was hit by a pickup truck while crossing I-81 on foot around 9:30 p.m. Thursday near the Bartel Road on-ramp. A second driver was then unable to avoid Moore, and also hit him while he was lying on the road.

No tickets have been issued. The investigation is ongoing.
