PAINTED POST, N.Y. – State Police say all lanes of Interstate 86 eastbound are now open between exits 42 and 43 in Painted Post.

The stretch was shut down earlier this morning following a multiple car crash. It happened near the Exit 43 ramp just before 4 a.m. The DOT closed off the highway to clear up debris and a tractor trailer that was blocking both eastbound lanes.
