CHENANGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- A grand jury has indicted the New Berlin man accused of shooting six of his neighbor's horses last month.

Police say Lauren McMaster, 75, shot the horses. They were found dead on the property adjacent to Hunts Pond Road.

McMaster has been charged with multiple counts of felony criminal mischief and one count of tampering of physical evidence. He is currently out on bail.
