SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police have made an arrest in connection with a stabbing at one of downtown's busiest intersections.
Stanley Stallworth, 23, of Syracuse, has been charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say he was part of a group of three people who stabbed Larry McCraney, 27, multiple times at the corner of Fayette and South Salina Street last Friday. That's the location of Centro’s major bus stop in Syracuse.
McCraney has been unconscious since the attack and remains in critical condition.
Stallworth was arrested Friday morning. He will be arraigned Saturday.
Police are still asking for the public's help. They are asking for anyone how many have cell phone video of the attack to contact the police department at (315) 442-5222.
