SKANEATELES, N.Y. -- A new playground is now open in Skaneateles in memory of a two-year-old boy who drowned in Skaneateles Lake last summer. This state-of-the-art playground was dedicated to Cameron Leigh Kenan, son of former Channel 9 anchor Julie Abbott and husband Steven Kenan.

The playground was constructed in Austin Park by community members and was completed in one weekend, from May 18th to the 20th. The community received individual donations, sponsorships, grants and donations of services to make this playground possible.
