ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A candle company is acquiring a portion of a Liverpool facility to begin manufacturing candles at the site. Light 4 Life Candles LLC is taking over the 200,000 square foot facility that was once the Will and Baumer Candle Company.

When Light 4 Life moves in, it will create 60 new full-time jobs and it plans to add more distribution space to the building. The company was also awarded a $250,000 grant, which will help them buy machinery and equipment.

Light 4 Life says it will focus on making vessel-filled candles, and that requires a unique, high-speed automatic machine. These new manufacturing techniques will make it cheaper to make candles, allowing the company to be able to compete with foreign imports.
