WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Wayne County woman has been arrested for allegedly robbing a gas station and leaving her baby alone at home.

Police say Shannon Huff, 32, went into the Kwik Fill gas station on Route 104 in the Town of Ontario and held the employee at gun point. The employee told police Huff ordered her to open the cash drawer, then she took off with money from the drawer.

During the investigation, police later found that Huff left her 10-month-old child home alone while she robbed the gas station.

Huff was charged with robbery and endangering the welfare of a child.
