Man arrested for 2007 burglary
ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Five years after a burglary in Mattydale, State Police matched a fingerprint to a suspect.
Back in June of 2007, police say a home on McKenney Avenue was burglarized, with the suspect stealing money, computers and DVDs. Forensics experts found fingerprints at the scene, but they could not be matched using the state’s fingerprint identification system. But about a week and a half ago, a match showed up in the database, linking a Syracuse man to the crime.
Troopers arrested Frankie Temple, 25. He was arraigned on a second degree burglary charge and is being held on $10,000 cash bail.
