NEW YORK STATE -- Good news for Memorial day travelers, gas prices are falling. That's according to AAA's latest report.

The national average in the U.S. is $3.64 per gallon. That's down one cent since Saturday.

New Yorkers are paying around $3.90 per gallon statewide. Locally we're paying around $3.81 cents.

Gas prices have been on the decline since oil closed at $90 a barrel on Wednesday for the first time since last October. AAA said many analysts expect gas prices to dip during the rest of the summer.
