Three injured in overnight shootings

By: Web Staff

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Three people were shot as a result of two separate shootings in Syracuse.

Police said they were first called to South State Street near McKinley Avenue early Monday morning. Upon arrival, they found 24-year-old RayQuan Hudson who suffered a gunshot wound to the ankle.

A parked vehicle and a house were also hit by bullets, but nobody else was hurt.

Police later responded to another call about 30 minutes later at the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The two victims, Terry Linden and Jovaehn Pringle, were playing dice when someone fired several shots at them.

Both men were shot in the leg.

All three victims were treated at Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The police do not suspect that the two incidents are related. They are asking anyone with information about either of the shootings to contact the Syracuse Police at (315) 442-5222.
