SYRACUSE, N.Y. – There will be more than 60 vendors and 40 restaurants with menu items and $1 samples. The samples are just one of the reasons why the annual Taste of Syracuse is so deliciously popular.
The two-day free event takes place today and tomorrow in and around Clinton Square, and is expected to draw more than 170,000 people.
A great musical lineup is set for both today and tomorrow on three stages, including American rock band 38-Special on Saturday night.
"Admission is free, we have something for kids, lots of entertainment for them. And, music that's free. So, you can come down, have a few samples, enjoy the music and you're not spending a lot of money. So, in these times, that's very important," said Pam Levine, Taste of Syracuse Director.
Taste of Syracuse is known as the second largest festival in Onondaga County behind the New York State Fair.
