CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Cornell baseball team is out of the NCAA tournament, losing an elimination game 10-6 to East Carolina. Tom D'Alessandro went 3/5 with 2 RBI to lead the Big Red.
Cornell took a 4-2 lead in the 4th with a four run inning, but the Pirates countered with five runs in the next inning to take the lead back for good. The Red were playing in their first NCAA tournament since 1977.
