OSWEGO, N.Y. -- One man is dead after a one-car crash in Oswego County this morning.

Authorities said Robert Green, 34, of Hannibal crashed at the intersection of State Routes 49 and 3 in the Town of Palermo just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

They said Green was driving west on route 49 when he lost control of his car, drove off the shoulder, and hit an embankment and several trees. Green's car overturned and he was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Green was the only person in the vehicle. Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident.
