SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting in the city. Police said Javier Bachiller, 20, was shot several times in the legs Tuesday afternoon behind a home on 2614 Midland Avenue.

The suspect is a described as a male in his 20s, wearing a orange hooded sweatshirt. He was last seen running south on Midland Avenue.

Bachiller was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
