OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Wednesday evening, family and friends gathered at the site of the car crash to honor the three victims who died Tuesday night.

Nearly 300 people gathered together to remember the three men who died: Robert Senke, Justin Purdy and Antonio Mendez.

The crowd lit candles in their honor, shared memories and comforted each other.

Friends say all three of the victims were fathers to small children, which has made this loss even more difficult to accept.

"This should've never happened. For all you guys, this never should've happened, to none of them, they don't deserve it at all. They were awesome dudes and great fathers," said Chelsea White.

The crowd continued to grow late into the night while police worked to keep traffic safely moving through the intersection.
