SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- There is plenty of action on the hardwood at Le Moyne College this weekend.
The school is hosting its third annual Turn-Around Jumpers Tournament. 120 teams participated this year, and organizers hope the event grows even more next year.
The tournament benefits the Salvation Army, but according to officials, it is also a good lesson for the players involved.
"The young kids can get exposed to what the Salvation Army does, and all the good work that it does. It's kind of a give and take for both organizations, for the kids, as well as the Salvation Army," said Mike Hopkins, Syracuse University Assistant Men's Basketball Coach.
The Turn-Around Jumpers Tournament continues through Sunday.
