SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A 2005 report detailing Syracuse University's investigation into sex abuse allegations against assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine has been made public. The Post Standard has published a copy of the 15 page report, which details the university's investigation.

According to the report, SU took statements from seven people about the allegations, including Bobby Davis, Bernie and Laurie Fine, as well as Assistant Basketball Coach Mike Hopkins. The report says Head Coach Jim Boeheim was interviewed, but was not asked to give a statement.

The document also reveals a new phone audio recording that Bernie Fine played to investigators in 2005. According to the report, Bobby Davis apologizes to Bernie Fine in the recording and indicates that what he did was wrong. The message however, did not reveal what Davis was apologizing for, or what he did that was wrong.

According to the Post Standard, the recording has since been lost, and neither Davis nor Fine would comment on it.
