Syracuse Police investigating shooting

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are continuing to investigate a shooting that injured one man. It happened around 5:45 p.m. Monday on the 100 block of Salt Springs Road.

Police said Wilfred Roman, 47, was shot while standing on the front porch of a home. He was found laying in the street at the corner of East Genesee and Croly streets.

Roman underwent emergency surgery at Upstate University Hospital. He is listed in fair condition this morning.
