SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse softball pitcher Jenna Caira will be departing from college after receiving multiple career honors, most recently being named an Easton fastpitch second-team All-American.
Caira was the first and only Orange player to receive such honors. She is also the Big East Conference's only representative.
Her senior year, the allstar hurler went 27-9 with a 1.60 earned run average. Caira is responsible for four out of the six no-hit games thrown in Syracuse University program history.
