Stabbing seriously injures 19-year-old in Syracuse
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are investigating a stabbing in the city that seriously injured one person. It happened around 11:15 p.m. Monday at 213 Rich Street.
Police said Duval Harper, 19, was stabbed in the abdomen during a fight. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital for emergency surgery, and he is expected to survive.
The suspect is a 14-year-old boy related to Harper's girlfriend. Police are still searching for him. His name is not being released due to his age.
