SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police have released the picture of a missing woman with the hopes that the public can help bring her home safely.

Investigators say Heather Ballard, 27, of Catherine Street in the city, was reported missing by family members on May 7th. She had not been seen for several weeks at that point and police say she is now considered endangered.

Ballard is approximately five-foot-two with long brown hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the 500 block of Catherine Street and the 400 block of James Street in the city.

Police do say that there is no evidence at this time of criminal activity in Ballard’s disappearance, but they're asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact their missing person's unit at (315) 442-5330.
