TIOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A recycling company in Tioga County announced plans to build a new state-of-the-art facility. Upstate Shredding-Ben Weitsman in Owego will build a new $6 million new wire chopping plant in the village.
The plant will process copper, aluminum, and lead coated wire from its 11 feeder yards throughout New York and Pennsylvania.
