CORTLAND, N.Y. -- After a year away due to the NFL lockout, the New York Jets will return to SUNY Cortland for training camp beginning July 26 with the first open practice set for July 28.
In addition to fans being excited, the local economy is also eager to see the team again as more than 41,000 people attended the three-week event in 2010, bringing an estimated $5.8 million to the area.

The New York Jets will officially start 2012 training camp when the team reports on July 26 at SUNY Cortland. The first practice open to the public will be on July 28, the first stop of a training camp schedule that features public practices in three different locations - Central New York, Long Island and New Jersey. The Jets 2012 Training Camp is presented by JetBlue, MetLife, SNY, The Record and Toyota.
On Tuesday, August 21, the team will hold a special Family Night Practice presented by JetBlue on Long Island at Hofstra University’s James M. Shuart Stadium. Also, practice will be open to the public on Thursday, August 23 and Friday, August 24 at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, NJ.
At each location, fans can enjoy Jets Fest, a football theme park with skill challenges and inflatable rides, and the Jets Shop Merchandise Tent.
