POTTER COUNTY, Pa. -- Two women have been arrested after police say they embezzled funds from a library in Potter County, Pennsylvania.

Tammy Ray, 38, of Liverpool, New York, and Rebeccah Dickerson, of Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania, are accused of using the Oswayo Valley Memorial Library funds to purchase items for themselves.

Police say the items they bought with the funds from 2007 to 2011, including electronics, sports memorabilia and clothing, cost more than $8,000 total.

Ray, a former director of the library, faces multiple charges including theft and conspiracy.

Dickerson, a former board of directors member, has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
