ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Elmira police continue to look for a suspect in a shooting that injured two people. Crews responded to a shooting near East 5th and Dickinson Streets around 1 a.m. Friday.

Police say say two people were injured and had to be taken to the hospital. Eldemiro Ross, 19, of Elmira was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Zantaisha Graham, 22, was also treated for a minor eye injury that resulted from the gunshot.

Investigators believe that the shooting was not a random act of violence.
