Driver crashes into home

By: Web Staff

DEKALB, N.Y. -- A home in St. Lawrence County is demolished after deputies say a drunk driver drove through it. They say Bryan Moore, 38, of Ogdensburg drove through a two-story house in the town of Dekalb just before midnight Friday.

Investigators say Moore failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of County Route 17 and State Highway 812. He then drove into the front of the home, through the living room and partially out the back wall. The downstairs tenant, a 29-year-old woman, was home with her 4-year-old child at the time of the crash. No one was injured.

Moore was charged with DWI and ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign.
