SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- One of the first large clothing stores in the new Destiny expansion at Carousel Center is set to open Thursday.

Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th held a preview party Wednesday night as it gears up for its grand opening.

Saks partnered with Say Yes to Education for the party, which allowed people to get a look at what the store says is luxury brands at a great value.

“We have tons of brands in our store. We have a great assortment of denim, fantastic sunglasses, a beautiful fine jewelry department, great assortment of shoes,” said Karen Peters, Senior Vice President of Stores.

Saks Fifth Avenue Off Fifth is located on the first level of the expansion.

The store opens to the public at 9 a.m.
