OGDENSBURG, N.Y. -- Ogdensburg is moving along with its Waterfront Revitalization Project and the focus is now on the former Standard Shade Roller Site on Covington Street.

The city has submitted an application to the DEC for a Brownfield Cleanup Program and Remedial Investigation Work Plan.

This piece of property used to house a boat manufacturing business, a brewery, as well as shade roller manufacturing and milling companies.

All of the buildings have been demolished and asbestos abatement was completed in April.

The application can be viewed at the Ogdensburg Public Library. Comments about the plans can be submitted no later than July 20th.
