SKANEATELES, N.Y. -- The Skaneateles Central School District has named an interim superintendent. Former superintendent Philip D'Angelo Jr. will be replaced by Dr. Judy Pastel while the school board starts their search for a permanent replacement.

She has said that she is looking forward to working with what she calls an excellent teaching staff and high performing students. Dr. Pastel will be coming to Skaneateles from Trumansburg, where she worked as an interim superintendent as well. Before that, Dr. Pastel was superintendent of the Ithaca City School District for 15 years.
