SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- We have a traffic alert to pass along if your commute takes you on Interstate 81 North into Syracuse.

Interstate 81 North bound from the 481 exchange to Adams Street will remain closed until next Tuesday. The single lane closure on 81 North from Brighton Avenue to 481 will also remain in effect until next Tuesday.

Construction was originally schedule to come to an end this Tuesday.

To avoid delays at all times during the day, the suggested detours are to use Exit 6 to Route 11 North or use Exit 15 to Lafayette Road.
