ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The attention was also on Jazz at Syracuse Music Studios Tuesday as the vocal talents of Ashley Gusman were on display.

The Bishop Ludden student was awarded top prize in the first-ever Jazzignition of Signature Music. The competition actually took place earlier this month.

Signature Music gave Gusman and three others scholarship money to continuing pursuing their musical dreams after high school.

Signature Music is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering music opportunities through Signature Music Camp and Signature Syracuse.

Also taking home scholarship money were second place finisher, tenor saxophonist Dunham Hall, third place winner Nubia Hill and vocalist Justin Tanksley in fourth place.
