WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- Police and emergency crews are trying to figure out exactly what happened early Friday, after finding a man injured at the edge of the Black River in Watertown. The man was found down a steep embankment on Huntington Street behind Miller's Towing.

The fire department had to use a ladder bucket to get the man and bring him back up to safety. An ambulance brought the man to a nearby helicopter, which took him to a Syracuse hospital.
