SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse teen was arrested and charged in a recent double shooting on the city's south side. Jaquell Greer, 17, is accused of shooting Sherron Jones, 16, and Quavon Cosby, 16, on Rich Street just before 5 p.m. Monday.

The crime scene covered almost two blocks, including Hudson and Marginal streets.

Police say Jones is still in critical condition at Upstate University Hospital, and Cosby was treated and released for a gunshot wound to his arm.

Police say they don't know the motive yet. Greer is charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.
