ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Phoenix man is dead following a motorcycle accident. It happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday in the Village of Minoa.

Police say Angelo Amodei III, 41, was on the 6300 block of Old Fremont Road when he hit a barrier and was thrown from the bike. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are still investigating what led up to the crash.
