SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Representatives of the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center in Syracuse are speaking out about the Penn State report. They say incidents like that can happen in any community and the best way to put a stop to it is to report it.

"Ninety percent of the people that are abusing, sexually abusing our children are people that we know, love and trust. So it's hard for people to understand why that would happen or why people do those things to those children," said Julie Cecile, Executive Director of McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center.

Cecile says she hopes people will learn from this report and prevent abuse like the Sandusky case from happening again somewhere else.
