Arrest made in Potter County rape case

POTTER COUNTY, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Police made an arrest in a Potter County rape case that dates back to October of last year. The victim told police she had been hit in the head while she was sleeping, and was sexually assaulted.
Blaise Alackness, 37, of Roulette Township, was arrested on Friday after officials linked him to trace evidence found at the scene. Alackness was taken into custody on a felony warrant, and now faces multiple charges including rape, and aggravated assault. He was sent to Potter County Jail on $50,000 bail.
