BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Qualifying rounds are underway at the Levene Gouldin and Thompson Tennis Challenger in Binghamton. The nine day tournament is held every year at Recreation Park.

This weekend, the public can get in for free to watch players try and make it into the main draw. On Monday, the competition begins for $50,000 in prize money. The tournament features many of the up and coming players of the sport. In the past, Andy Murray, James Blake and Lleyton Hewitt have all played before they became superstars.
