ILION, N.Y. -- An Ilion man is accused of raping a child over the course of several years. George Watson, 35, was arrested following a four week long investigation.

Police said Watson repeatedly had sex with a child starting in 2008, when the victim was 9. He is now charged with first degree rape, first degree course of sexual conduct against a child, second degree sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned and sent to Herkimer County Jail on $25,000 bail.
